Special Education Law: An Overview for Non-Special Education Attorneys

$60 for MBA members | $95 non-members

Representing children with disabilities and their families is a narrow, specialized practice area. If you don't practice in this field or know someone with a disability, you might not know there is such a thing as special education law. Attorneys in many practice areas might encounter issues related to the legal rights and entitlements of children and young adults with disabilities. Special education law intersects with family law, estate planning, guardianship, juvenile law, and criminal law. Kevin Brague, The Brague Law Firm and Christine Furrer, Fischer Family Law are our esteemed speakers. This CLE will not make you an expert on special education law, but it will help you to identify special education related issues in your own practice and to know when to turn to other experts.
