Collegial Events & Networking Opportunities The MBA 2008 events give members opportunities to get together to socialize, network and have fun. On February 13, the MBA held its Annual Open House. MBA members and friends of the MBA honored Judge Dale Koch and enjoyed refreshments at this casual get together. On February 23, the 6th Annual WinterSmash raised money for Multnomah CourtCare. Approximately 250 people gathered at 20th Century Lanes for a fun evening of bowling. On May 21, about 400 people will attend the 102nd Annual Meeting and Dinner and Judges Reception recognizing the service of MBA members. The prestigious MBA Professionalism Award and awards of merit were presented. The 11th Annual Members Golf Championship will be held on Wednesday, September 10 at Langdon Farms Golf Club to raise money for the Volunteer Lawyers Project at Legal Aid Services of Oregon. The Absolutely Social Social will be held in October. This cocktail party, attended by about 200 lawyers, is the perfect setting to catch up with colleagues and friends you haven't seen for awhile.
